Layla Zahedi
Vice President of Operations
Layla Zahedi serves as Vice President of Operations, partnering closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure the practice runs smoothly while delivering a welcoming, high-quality experience to every patient.
With extensive experience supporting multi-location healthcare practices, Layla plays a central role in coordinating operations, enhancing patient flow, and helping create an environment where patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Her work helps ensure that each visit is seamless—from scheduling through follow-up—while supporting the providers and staff behind the scenes.
Her background in operational leadership and systems management has shaped her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to practice growth and team collaboration. She is passionate about building supportive infrastructures that allow the practice to maintain its personalized, patient-centered culture.
Outside of work, Layla enjoys caring for and spending time with her family. She loves traveling and learning about different cultures, playing guitar and singing, and spending time with her Cavapoo, Luna.
Stephan Moritz
Vice President of Patient Experience & Engagement
Stephan Moritz plays a key leadership role in shaping how patients connect with and experience the Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center. As Vice President of Patient Experience & Engagement, he helps guide the vision of how the practice communicates, educates, and builds lasting relationships with its patients.
His work focuses on ensuring that every touchpoint—whether online, by phone, or in person—reflects the practice’s commitment to transparency, comfort, and trust. Stephan partners closely with clinical and operational teams to align patient communication and education.
Having worked in the digital media field and in office operations, his technical knowledge and online expertise focuses on initiatives that strengthen the connection between the practice and the community. With a thoughtful, patient-first approach, Stephan helps ensure the practice’s growth never comes at the expense of its personalized approach.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy, attending concerts, and watching professional sports with friends.
Kristen Kingsley
Practice Manager
Kristen Kingsley is the Practice Manager supporting Moksha Dermatology, bringing over 15 years of experience in healthcare operations. With a strong commitment to excellence, Kristen specializes in implementing patient-centered practices and streamlined workflows that enhance both the patient experience and overall office efficiency. She takes pride in creating systems that support compassionate, high-quality care and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.
Colleen Clifford, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Colleen Clifford, DMS, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Specializing in medical dermatology, she treats a wide range of conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and more.
Colleen earned her Doctorate of Medical Science from Butler University and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from University of the Cumberlands Northern Kentucky Campus. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Known for a warm bedside manner and thoughtful approach, Colleen takes time to truly listen, educate, and create customized treatment plans that fit each patient’s diagnosis, lifestyle, and goals.
Outside the office, she enjoys working out, reading, spending time with family and friends, and staying current on the latest advances in skincare and dermatologic treatments.
Sumitra Acharya, PA
Physician Assistant
Sumitra Acharya is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology, with a prior clinical background in otolaryngology (ENT) and urgent care. She evaluates and treats a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer, with a particular interest in acne management and early skin cancer detection. She also performs procedures such as skin biopsies, mole removal, and cryotherapy.Sumitra earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from the University at Buffalo and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville University. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin and is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care for every patient. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Deanna Weinheimer
Medical Assistant
Deanna is the Medical Assistant at Moksha Dermatology. She is a caring and detail-oriented medical assistant who takes pride in helping patients feel at ease during their visits. She assists with clinical procedures, patient assesments,documentation, and daily office flow, always striving to create a positive and supportive healthcaare experiance. Deanna believes that kindness, empathy and clear communication are just as important as clinical skills when it comes to patient care. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
Elissa Buonpane
Front Desk Receptionist
Elissa is the Front Desk Receptionist for Moksha Dermatology with over 13 years of experience in medical services, as well as many additional years of diverse administrative background. Elissa prides herself in being detail-oriented, results driven and brings strong organizational skills to the practice. Outside of work Elissa enjoys animals, movies and exploring alternative medicine as a personal interest.
